Chain organisation

Versdirect.nl is an organisation in which soft fruit and vegetable growers and three sales companies undertake long-term collaboration within the fruit and vegetables chain. And this is why versdirect.nl is also known as a chain organisation. The fine tuned cooperation between the growers and sales organisations means that all contributors to the chain jointly ensure that fresh, safe and healthy produce is available to consumers in the Netherlands and in other countries.

Versdirect.nl also has a growers association, which is also named versdirect.nl, to which the majority of the more than 100 growers belong. All their products are marketed through the three VDN sales organisations.The grower has an active role to play here. With market oriented production, consultation and influence in market approach, versdirect.nl can achieve its goal: to supply fresh produce meeting customers' requirements at a standard market price and at the same time maintain the return for its growers.
